I received this email from Eddie Speed on Thursday, Jan. 14:
I’ve got some sad news. Our friend Laurie Ward’s husband Jeff passed away. His
death was unexpected. Jeff had just celebrated his 60th birthday and Laurie
and Jeff had just recently celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. He
was in an acute care facility hospital since December 23rd for a burn he
suffered from a heating pad that was having trouble healing.
His service is scheduled for Saturday I believe at Kingwood Funeral Home in
Houston/Kingwood area where they live. The link above is what I found when
