On June 29 US Rep. Barney Frank, chairman of the House Committee on Financial Services, and Sen. Chris Dodd, chairman of the Senate Banking Committee, signed off on allowing three carrybacks per year under the SAFE Act without a license. This according to Sam Whitfield of the National Assn. of Realtors. See Seller Financing letter to conferees
In other words, “We’re going to outlaw seller financing…oh, you don’t like that? Well then, we’ll show you what good guys we are and let you do three a year.” And everyone thanks them. As Howard Cook said, “now we see people agreeing that a beating once a week is acceptable as opposed to daily beatings.”
I was working in Congress when Barney Frank was “reprimanded” by the House for running a homosexual whorehouse out of his home (he was simply slapped on his limp wrist because the House was and is controlled by his Democrat buddies). And we all knew Chris Dodd as a notorious drunk and womanizer. These are the paragons of virtue whose delicate moral sensibilities are offended if you take back a note.
Do you think I’m making this up? Just Google “Barney Frank House reprimand”. The dirt on Dodd is a bit harder to find. A waiter at La Brasserie told me about Dodd and Ted Kennedy shortly after this happened: http://sonsoftherepublic.blogspot.com/2005/08/kennedy-dodd-waitress-sandwich.html
